CCR Attorney Darius Charney On Stop & Frisk

Although Mayor Mike Bloomberg says that the NYPD practice of stop-and-frisk is keeping New York City streets safe, critics of the practice argue that the program targets Blacks and Latinos and subjects them to racially biased illegal searches.  Recently, opponents of this controversial program were  granted a class action lawsuit against New York City.  That means that a BOATLOAD of people are suing the City under the claim that their civil rights were violated.

See what the lead attorney in the case representing the plaintiffs,
Darius Charney, from the Center for Constitutional Rights, says about the lawsuit and stop-and-frisk when he spoke to Let Your Voice Be Heard! Radio.
